Thank you.
Thank you for the amazing mom and dad I have been given. Even when I'm down, they always make me feel better, and they always keep this array of hope and trust and belief. They are the ones who teach me the things I could never imagine.
Thank you for my friends, whom did not necessarily notice my bad mood, but made me feel better: taking, saving me a seat, laughing.
Thank you for the library for I've found this amazing book - "Making It Into A Top College" - which will hopefully, guide me correctly.
Thank you for my cute outfits, a roof above my head, a bed to sleep in. Thank you for blessing me with two hands and two feet.
Thank you for poetry especially EE Cumming's "anyone lived in a pretty how town".

11:11
So, the past couple of months (heck, for the past year), I've been playing a couple of games with God. I ask him for favors (for example, straight A's), and then "play" guessing games with Him, "challenging" (not really challenging, for I can never be as superior as God), but challenging him that if I find my pencil, I'll get straight A's or if I eat my dinner without any hesitation, I'll get straight A's or if I remember to wake up at 5, I'll get straight A's or if I...and hopefully, you get the point.
Today, we got our report cards and for the fifth year in a row, I've gotten straight A's. I was ecstatic and delighted that God has given me so much...and I thank Him every night and every day and merely every second I'm alive. However, it sometimes scares me that I have it all...that I'm achieving this "perfection"...or getting what I ask for.
I know. I should never complain, and I'm definetely not complaining, but I'm just worried that this might all stop. This "good luck"...maybe God's help might stop...and then I'll drown...and be completely and utterly lost.
Ironically, I began typing this at 11:11...oh boy, the good luck keeps coming...

Lost
I'm stranded on an island,
In the middle of nowhere.
Swish, swash goes the sounds of the waves
Eep, eeep go the cries of the birds
I turn around, the sounds catching my ears, but silence ensues instead.
All I can see is a strip of land - endless, gleaming, barren.
Is it even an island? I think.
For an island has the shelter, the palm trees, the birds?
Right?
Or is that a lie as well?
No boat, no compass
They've left me in labyrinth of mysteries and dangers.
Trusting me with the ability to crawl myself back out.
Trusting Him to guide me through it all.
